J. N. Jolicoeur founded the company in 1907. At this particular point in time the primary focus was on aprons and clothes rental for butcher shops and restaurants. Eleven years later, in 1918, the domestic washing service had begun.
His son Jean-Paul starts in 1931 and becomes owner with his brother Edmond in 1945. At this time, the company operated 90 routes. In 1955, after the death of Edmond, Jean-Paul becomes sole owner. Service to the residential market came to an end in 1981, since then we have become the reference for uniform rental in Montreal.
André Jolicoeur, son of Jean-Paul Jolicoeur, entered the business in 1969 after he studied at HEC and received an MBA from McGill University. He later became owner in 1988.
Jolicoeur Ltd currently employs 125 people and manages 24 routes to serve weekly more than 3000 customers. The rental of industrial uniforms, entrance mats and linen is part of our primary activities.
